Blogosphere Doubling Every 5.5 Months!

State of the Blogosphere:
- The blogosphere continues to double about every 5.5 months
- A new blog is created about every second.
That is a lot of blogs!

I bet just as many blogs are abandoned too. What do you thinks happens to all of the abounded blogs? Is there some sort of blog purgatory?
